Green Action Fund
About
Who We Are:
The Green Action Fund (GAF) is a student funded and student led organization that awards research, seed, and project grants to students, faculty, and staff to increase sustainability on the UCCS campus. Established in 2011, GAF has invested over $1.5 million into sustainability at UCCS over the last 10+ years.
What We Do:
The Green Action Fund is a student-led committee that evaluates and votes on grant applications that further the goals of the UCCS Sustainability Strategic Plan. The Green Action Fee receives approximately $120,000 annually in funding through a small per semester per student fee of $6.39 per semester ($3.20 in summer).

There are three ways to get involved with the Green Action Fund:
1. Submit a grant application! Do you have a green idea that fits the three pillars of sustainability? Apply for a grant to make your project a reality! No idea is too big or too small. Check out the application here. If you need help, reach out to the Grant Coordinator at st-sus01@uccs.edu to guide you through the application process.
2. Volunteer/attend events! Follow us here on MLC to keep up with our upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. You can also follow us on instagram @greenactionfunduccs to see what we're up to!
